Pre-school

Dear parents and carers,

Our Pre-school provides flexible care for children aged 3-4.  We believe that children learn best through play. We offer a range of fun activities that include stories and singing at circle time, outside play in the playground or in the copse and creative play with paint, sand and water. The children are given a colour group when they join us and are allocated a Keyperson who will supervise their activities and monitor their progress by making regular assessments, following the Early Years Foundation guidelines.

Often a summary of your child's day is written in their learning journals and sent home after each session. Parents are encouraged to comment in them too, so that there is an easy flow of communication between you and your child's Keyperson. In addition, the door to the office is always open if you wish to discuss anything with us.

Choose from flexible sessions to suit you and your child. We run a morning session 9am - 11.30am, Lunchtime session 11.30am - 12.30pm and an afternoon session 12.30pm - 3pm. You can also add Breakfast club and After school club to make a full days care from 8am - 5.30pm.

We advise putting your child's name down for Pre-school sessions as soon as possible. We are experiencing high demand at the moment and even have some bumps on our waiting list! Please contact us to arrange a visit to see our facilities and meet the staff.
